(An-Nahl) 16 : 67

And from the fruits of the date palms and grapevines, you are selecting intoxicant and good provision. Indeed that is a sign for people who are utilizing their intelligence.

It is told in verse 2: 219 about liquor and gambling: “In both of them there are serious sins as well as a benefit for mankind. And their sin is greater than their benefit”. In everything, there is good and evil. So man bestowed with intelligence should take the good from everything which the Lord satisfies. But only 1 in 1000 believers will do that. All other Arabic Quran reading Fujjar will choose the evil side of everything that satisfies Satan. They are the Mujirim who don’t utilize their intelligence as explained in verses 2: 168-169. They will have to bear the burden of all evil deeds done by the other people belonging to Messenger’s community who didn’t receive the last version of the Lord’s Book as explained in verse 2: 59. See explanation 2: 44; 5: 2, 90-91, and 10: 100.
